The Folk Collection performs a tribute to the classic songs and performers of the 60's folk era. Their repertoire includes songs from Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, The Kingston Trio, John Denver and many more performers and songwriters of that era. With their humor and solid 3-part harmony, accompanied by guitars and banjo, The Folk Collection presents a fun-filled afternoon of laughter and song for audiences of all ages, who will be encouraged to sing along. |
Allakhverdyan Duet

Boris Allakhverdyan was appointed Principal Clarinet of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 2016. He previously served as Principal Clarinet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the Associate Principal Clarinet of the Kansas City Symphony. Mr. Allakhverdyan is a founding member of the Prima Trio, the Grand Prize winner of the prestigious 2007 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. The New York Times has called his performances "inspired," "gorgeous," and "superlative," and the Los Angeles Times praised his "energetic, vibrant solos." Pianist Alin Melik-Adamyn Allakhverdyan is a prize-winning collaborative artist, soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. A native of Southern California, Alin began her piano studies at the age of four and has since performed throughout the United States. Praised for a "sensitivity unique in the piano world" (The Musical Gourmet), Alin was the grand prize winner of the YMF/ASCAP Leiber & Stoller Scholarship. |
Dawn & Judy - Together Again!

Judy injects her personal style into contemporary and folk, as well as jazz standards, delivering each song with the skill of a lyric storyteller. Her pure, clear tone has been called uplifting, healing, and evocative. "her voice is a bell-clear thing of beauty - playful, nuanced and able to effortlessly convey emotion" - Glen Starkey of the New Times. Known for her elegant, high spirited interpretations of classic jazz and swing standards, Dawn's silky voice and sparkling rapport with audiences has made her a favorite performer locally as well as at festivals throughout the West Coast. In reviewing her CD "Let's Get Lost" John Brook wrote that Dawn "has the kind of voice that will soothe and warm up any cold night." |

Pianist/Composer Mike Strickland presents a fun-filled show of great piano music with styles of Jazz, Popular, Blues, Boogie-Woogie, Broadway, and Classical favorites. He is known for his exceptional musicianship and arrangements and his ability to connect with the audience. Mike is an international recording artist with 23 CDs and has had his music featured in films and TV. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, he now makes his home in McMinnville, Oregon. |
